Welcome to Business Company Mobiles

Business Company Mobiles are proud to boast 12 years in business – trading since 1998! We offer not only our trusted service but also the best deals around to all people in need of business mobile phone contracts! Whether you’re a sole trader with the simple need of 1 handset, or if you’re a multinational company in need of 100 mobile phone contracts, we have the best business mobile deal for YOU!

Here at “Business Company Mobiles” we have all your business mobile solutions under one roof! From solid, robust phone’s like the JCB handset, to smart phones like the IPhone or Blackberry! But Wait, there’s MORE! Not only do we offer the best deals tailored to your company, we offer unbiased, independent advice. “Business Company Mobiles” is not tied to any network; we help you to choose the right one for your company.

Why Us ?

Well Independent means impartial. when replacing your mobile phone whether it’s a business mobile or a personal one you should always use a reputable independent dealer.
Independent phone dealers are impartial as they have to sell the products in their store without as much bias as possible. While it’s true that if they work on commission they may push one product over another, many don’t, instead relying on word of mouth, own experience and support to offer you the best business tariff. Orange business tariffs, or business tariffs for other networks, excluding deals which sometimes change the balance slightly are often comparable, so it’s important to talk to someone who knows the ins and outs of the network, it’s coverage and probably more importantly, the features of the phones you’re considering buying.

Orange tariffs for business for example, may be the best choice for you, but without independent comparison and discussing it with a team of experts trained and up to date in the field of mobile phones and business mobiles; you may find you make the wrong – costly choice. Business tariffs by Orange, or T-Mobile, or O2 are about comparable most of the time –it’s the extras that you get which can make or break the deal.

What to ask your sales expert

When entering a mobile phone store, especially independent ones, you’ll find a vast array of products on display – while the amount of phones that can be used on a business tariff is increasing, the first thing you should ask is whether the phone you want is available on a business tariff. After that, you should ask about important things like configuration to access email, battery life, insurance cover for damage or theft, information on its usage, and how well it handles it’s apps or widgets and anything else you can think of to discuss with the sales person.

Ask about similar levels of handsets, whether there is a better deal out there that you may have missed or if this is the best phone for you. Ask also to try it out – if you can, feel how heavy it is and see if you can see if it loses signal on being handled.

Once you’ve asked your questions, if you have to go back and report, take some time to read reviews online and research what you were told – if you’re in charge of the business decision to purchase the phone, take a day to think about it *(unless of course you need a phone) – independent and impartial advisors will understand.
Looking for an independent, impartial, practical guide to mobile phones? Confused by your options?

We can help – www.businesscompanymobiles.co.uk are well informed, impartial experts on mobile phones. Contact us today and find your ideal mobile phone.

The new HTC Mini

Sleek, stylish and designed for Windows Mobile, the new HTC mini is a mobile phone to rival the iPhone 4. While it’s true that the iPhone 4 reigns almost supreme at the top of the smartphone market and its market share looks almost insurmountable, the tide may just change, and HTC is well placed to ride that change.

But how does it stack up as a business mobile?

Well, that depends on how you see your business mobile’s needs. It has all of the important features that Windows Mobile carries, including seamless interface with Office – which is one of the key reasons Windows Mobile can possibly dominate the business market. As its Windows, it’s also an interface people recognise – which is important when trying out a new phone. It’s no business Blackberry because even the iPhone can’t compare to the Blackberry, it’s like comparing apples and oranges. What is important is that business mobiles need to be both agile and robust to handle business needs.

It’s also got fun features though – and has its own widget market (making it almost comparable in some ways to the ‘sidebar’ in some windows installs – possibly, again to add a layer of familiarity and differentiate from the iPhone for Business, which means it can work hard and play hard.

But how does it work as a phone?

Its strong key features are good – there’s little drop of signal, and the screen is crisp and gorgeous. It’s also a capacitive touch screen, but unlike the blackberry for business, it has no qwerty keyboard. It depends on your view of this as a drawback or bonus however.

Unlike the iPhone 4 it has expandable memory and like most phones on the market now it has a 5mp camera.

All in all, it’s a strong competitor in the new field of smartphones and could be the pretender King to the iPhone throne before long.

Struggling to understand the choices for business mobiles? Unsure how to proceed with your contracts for your business and want to get the best deals? Contact us, we’re the experts – www.businesscompanymobiles.co.uk

Blackberry 9700, the best Blackberry yet.

The Blackberry has come a long way and is one of the leading phones for business at present, and each iteration improves quite a bit, but it’s fair to say that this BlackBerry is the best yet. And for businesses it’s dynamite, blowing even the iPhone 4 off its perch as favourite device.

The nitty gritty

RIM has taken all of the things they’ve learned and created a business Blackberry that anyone can get used to. On all major networks, the Blackberry 9700 was the pinnacle of design in late 2009 and hasn’t dated in the slightest.

A massively responsive, incredible display tops out what is one of the best blackberries you’ll ever experience. A track pad instead of trackball that can take a few days to adapt to and a slightly different keyboard than older BlackBerries round off the interface. Depending on your network you’ll also have access to some goodies, talk to your business tariff provider if in doubt.

The downsides include slow software and only basic fixes to the software itself – though, this isn’t to do with the Blackberry, but the code it’s running. Social networking and maps, browsing and video upload all tested out as slow, incredibly slow or so slow you could probably walk faster to get the information, which wasn’t good, but again, some of that is down to wireless and 3g access.

However its email system is unbeatable, as is its ability to multi-task, a feature that BlackBerry heavily capitalise on, making it a business mobile for the savvy user. Add to that the battery life is absolutely astonishing at around 48 hours it’s double the reported for the iPhone 3gs for business. Given that this is with everything running, it’s an amazing battery life. While it’s important to consider this, it’s equally important to consider whether this matters – if you’re docking and plugging in your phone to charge every day, it should be incredibly easy to keep it fully powered anyway.

Overall, the Blackberry is an amazing piece of kit that allows you to access your email on the go, work on documents, edit and save information, browse the web and Facebook (if you can forgive it’s slowness) and is most of all a reliable phone.

The new iPhone

The iPhone 4 is without a doubt, one of the best looking pieces of technology on the market, but not everyone that owns one also owns a mac. There are benefits to using the iPhone with a mac though.

The iPhone 4

A sleek, crisp screen hides a veritable powerhouse of processing power – with computing speeds rivalling some older computers, graphics that are crisp and beautiful and a responsiveness that’s hard to match on any other current smartphone, and now with multi-tasking, the iPhone has very few barriers to becoming the world’s number 1 business mobile. But there are problems – with reports of spotty reception, depending on how you hold the phone, and the possibility that your phone will shatter, plus the fact that editing documents on the iPhone or iPad can be painfully slow, email access is limited to a set of points (though can be synced from your pc) and the fact that it is a mac, and some people just don’t like them, it’s not the victor taking the spoils quite yet.

The iPhone 4 has it all, including the ubiquitous phrase, ‘there’s an app for that’ but it’s important to understand that the iPhone 4 can basically be seen as a pared down iPad, which is a pared down Apple mac. And as this is the case, aside from the difference in size, it’s easy to see how the iPhone is rapidly becoming the savvy person’s MP3 and phone choice all in one. And it stacks up as a nice camera too.

Being able to use the iPhone 4 for business alongside your mac has many benefits, including a distinct lack of virus threats, interface support and the obvious ability for it to work out of the box with the mac, but is it essential? Some might say yes, because some believe that using the iPhone on a mac is how it should be – but there’s no compelling evidence to suggest it makes much difference, other than a basic interface problem – i.e – sometimes the iPhone can’t – or won’t – read a document format, which wouldn’t happen from a mac.

The iPhone 4 has now become the business mobile of choice on business tariffs by Orange, T-Mobile and other networks. The barrier for using a iPhone or iPod has dropped from apple geek to average Joe, so having a mac may not actually present any advantages to the iPhone 4.
